Dale F. Bloom, Ph.D. performed her doctoral studies at UCLA in the Behavioral Neuroscience division of the Department of Psychology and the Brain Research Institute, and is a full-time author.

Jonathan D. Karp, Ph.D. received his doctorate in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and is an Associate Professor at Rider University.

Nicholas Cohen, Ph.D. received his doctorate in Biology from theUniversity of Rochester and is currently Professor Emeritus of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Prior to his retirement in 2004, he was director of graduate studies in his field.
